Can I submit multiple photos at once?

Yes. You can upload as many as you like and as often as you like.

What resolution is accepted?

Minimum 2000 px on the shortest edge, JPEG format.

Are AI images allowed?

No. Only real, human-made photographs are accepted. Light and colour corrections are fine. Judges reserve the right to request RAW or original files with full metadata at any time for quality control purposes.

How will my images be used?

If your photo becomes a winner, you give Vamoos, Insert, Excio and the Captivating Photography Journal a royalty free, non exclusive licence to use it. This allows us to display, reproduce and share your winning image in any media, now or in the future. Vamoos and its connected companies and clients may use the photo to promote travel and travel systems, including websites, itineraries, travel proposals, marketing material and internal communications. This applies only to photos that receive payment.

All other submitted images will only be used for display on this website and for highlighting shortlisted entries on social media. All images and all copyrights stay with you.

Can I submit older travel photos?

Absolutely. Photos from any year are welcome.

Is there a fee to enter?

No. Entry is completely free.

When are payments made?

Payments are processed monthly for all images selected as winners during that period.
